THE VILLAGES, Fla. — The penultimate event of the summer in the Sunshine State has arrived at The Villages Charter High School. 36 teams have taken the stage. Here are six stock risers from the Florida Crown Session IV:

Blaise Copeland - Austin Rivers SE Elite Jr. 3SSB - 2030

The 5-foot-9 rising freshman point guard already has a year of varsity basketball experience, and it showed on the final day at the Florida Crown. On offense, he was a vital scoring threat, where he shot the cover off the ball at a high clip both off the catch and bounce. He was also a lead guard, where he got his teammates involved by making strong passes in the half-court offense. On the defensive end, he showed great footwork when guarding out on the perimeter and was unafraid to let his size be effective in the interior, where he was snatching timely rebounds and playing around the basket.

Ben Newby - Nassau United - 2027

The 6-foot rising senior point guard rarely made mistakes despite the loss to Florida Suns on the offensive end. He consistently made an impact, whether it was his ability to shoot from the perimeter or getting his teammates involved by making the extra pass or keeping possessions alive with his timely rebounding. On the defensive end, he brought a ton of activity and was physical when it came to forcing the opposition into making a tough shot or getting them off their spots. Overall, his movement off the ball, floor spacing, and ability to play with energy on the defensive end stood out throughout the weekend.

Jeremy Chavers - PSB Tampa Bay Robinson OTR - 2028

The 6-foot-3 rising junior shooting guard made his two-way presence felt on both ends of the floor despite Sunday’s tough loss to SCE 2028 Regional. On offense, he used his size and strength to his advantage when it came to playing at the rim, where he finished through contact on several occasions. He also added his perimeter scoring threat both off the catch and bounce. He finished with 16 points and six rebounds in the final game of the weekend, where he scored in double figures in two of the three games throughout the weekend.

Adrian Pozo - PSB Tampa Bay Robinson OTR - 2028

The 6-foot-3 rising junior point guard is one of the most skilled guards in the circuit for his age group. Pozo can do it all on the offensive end, where he has strong instincts and a great feel for passing, scoring on all three levels, and keeping possessions alive with his ability to make an impact on the glass. Throughout the course of the weekend, Pozo led his team in both scoring and assists. Overall, his two-way playmaking could lead to a possible big junior season for the 6-foot-3 point guard.

Kymani Richards - Crossover Mission- 2031

The 5-foot-8 rising eighth grader has an elite and mature game that goes beyond his years. On the offensive end, he developed a nice mid-range game as well as being unafraid when it came to finishing around the rim. On the defensive end, his length and high motor became a huge focal point, where he was altering shots around the rim, snatching timely rebounds, and pushing tempo in transition-scoring opportunities. Overall, his two-way playmaking set the tone for his team despite not picking up a win over the course of the weekend.

Aamir Coates - Global Not Local - 2031

Coates is a shifty guard who made plays happen whether it was as a primary ballhandler or getting to his spots off the ball on the offensive end. He has a mature game that goes beyond his years, as he understood how to play with pace and knows when to be aggressive. On the defensive end, he applied steady pressure with his quickness and ability to beat the opposition to the spot, where he forced turnovers, got deflections, and led transition scoring opportunities. Overall, his downhill aggression and reacting in the passing lanes, and ability to play through contact were major factors throughout the weekend.
