The 2026 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) regional playoffs are officially underway as we look at some of the top performers from this weekend’s regional semifinals.

Elijah Ahlers - Northside Christian - 2027

The 6-foot-5 junior wing has flourished on the scene this season, where his productivity continued to shine in the wire-to-wire win over St. John Neumann. Ahlers finished with a double-double (17 points and 11 rebounds), where he has huge grit and is tough when it comes to positioning himself for rebounds. On the offensive end, his steady jump shot continues to be pure whether it’s off the catch or bounce. On the defensive end, he is versatile, as he guarded positions 1 through 4 with his length and physicality. Ahlers’ ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor could determine whether Northside Christian reaches their first final four appearance in school history.

Aaron Britt Jr - The Villages Charter - 2027

The 6-foot-2 junior point guard put together a strong performance in the regional semifinal win over Windermere Prep. He showcased elite shot-making and decision-making when he had the basketball in his hands. He was confident when it came to scoring in the mid-range as well as finishing at the point of attack around the rim. His ability to get his teammates involved off the bounce was what stood out to me, as he dished out a team-high six assists in the win. It was a good showing for Britt as he continues to make a name for himself nationally in the 2027 class.

Anthony Brown - Boca Ciega - 2027

The 6-foot-6 small forward put on an electrifying performance in the regional semifinal win over Gulf High School. Brown finished with a game-high 45 points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks. His length and strength continue to be a matchup problem on the interior, where he finishes off two feet at a high level. His impact on the defensive end provided a huge spark, where he got timely rebounds when it mattered most. Look for Brown’s stock to continue to rise as we head into the rest of this year’s postseason as well as this upcoming travel season.

Tucker Fox - Victory Christian Academy - 2026

Fox made an impact on both ends of the floor in their regional semifinal win over Sarasota Christian. His ability to score off the catch and bounce has drastically improved over the course of the season, where he finished with a game-high 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the field. While his outside shot wasn’t falling, he was unafraid when it came to scoring at the point of attack on the offensive end. He played with a ton of energy on the defensive end, where his activity in the passing lanes was a focal point in the lopsided win, where he picked up a team-high seven steals. With Fox’s ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor, Victory Christian Academy could potentially return to the Final Four for the second consecutive season.

Michael Madueme - Lake Highland Prep - 2026

Madueme wasted no time getting his shot going offensively in the regional semifinal win over Calvary Christian. He finished with a team-high 16 points on an elite shooting 8-for-9 from the field. His blend of physicality on the defensive end continued to make havoc for the opposition, as well as battling on the glass, limiting second-chance opportunities to a minimum. His poise and presence on both ends of the floor continue to stand out as he could make an immediate impact when he gets to the Ivy League next season.

Johnas Maurice - Lake Howell - 2028

The 6-foot-2 sophomore point guard put on an electric scoring display in their regional semifinal win over Tocoi Creek. Maurice finished with a game-high 36 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field and 6-of-10 from behind the arc. On the offensive end, Maurice was playing with poise and patience, waiting for the right opportunities on when to score versus when to facilitate. His composure and decision-making go well beyond his years as his game continues to grow. With this elite performance, Maurice has drastically made a name for himself to watch across the state. As his overall game continues to develop, he will be a name to watch over the course of the next two years.

Henry Robinson Jr - Pine Ridge - 2027

Robinson provided a ton of fluidity on the offensive end in their regional semifinal win over New Smyrna Beach. He was unafraid when it came to absorbing contact in the mid-range as well as on the attack at the basket. Robinson finished with a game-high 21 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field, 3-of-7 from the three-point line, and went 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. On the defensive end, he was guarding heavily on the perimeter and making an impact with his length, forcing the opposition into taking tough shots all night. With his size and length, Robinson is just scratching the surface of being one of the top all-around prospects in the state.

Dominick Walsh - Northside Christian - 2027

The 5-foot-11 junior point guard is having himself a stellar postseason, where he is returning to his scoring form. In the regional semifinal win over St. John Neumann, Walsh finished with 17 points to go along with a team-high seven assists and four steals. On the offensive end, he can get down the floor in a hurry as well as get to his spots off the catch and the bounce. His knack for finishing from behind the arc this postseason has been fun to watch, as he knocked down three 3-pointers in five attempts. His court vision and decision-making are what separate Walsh from most point guards in his class, as he knows where his teammates are to get them involved. Walsh is clicking at the right time offensively, where he could help lead Northside Christian to their ultimate goal this season.
