OTR Hoops: Unsigned 2026 Seniors Still Deserving Attention at Carolina Mania

Carolina Mania served as another reminder that there is still real talent available in the 2026 class for programs willing to keep evaluating. With so much movement in recruiting and roster construction, events like this continue to show that unsigned seniors can still bring real college value. Whether it is scoring punch, guard play, or athletic tools, this group made a strong case for why they deserve more attention.

Sebi Boyogueno - Top Shot UAA

Continues to prove he is a Division I-caliber player. After an impressive campaign at Riverside, he carried that same momentum into Carolina Mania and once again showed why he should still be firmly on college radars. His scoring ability immediately stands out because of how easy he makes the game look. He gets to his spots, penetrates at a high level, and plays through a strong, athletic frame that should translate well upward. He does not look rushed trying to create, and he consistently puts pressure on the defense with his downhill game and confident approach.

Deshawn Coulter - Charlotte Aces OTR

Brings the kind of guard play that can help a team right away because of how comfortable he is with the ball in his hands. He is highly efficient out of the pick and roll, makes smart reads, and plays with control. That matters because coaches are always looking for guards who can settle a team down, create quality offense, and keep the defense on its heels without forcing the action. Coulter looks like the type of unsigned senior guard who could step into a college setting and provide immediate value through poise, decision-making, and steady offensive creation.

Jaylen Lampkins - GDPA

Showed the type of traits that make unsigned seniors worth betting on this late in the cycle. He played with confidence, stayed aggressive, and looked like someone capable of giving a program energy and production right away. Players at this stage need to prove they can impact winning without needing everything built around them, and Lampkins gave that impression. He competed hard, embraced the moment, and looked ready to bring value in whatever role is needed.

Jayden Hickman - GAA OTR

Is strong, tough, and explosive on the defensive end, and that presence shows up right away. He applies real pressure at the point of attack, moves with force, and makes life difficult for opposing guards with the way he competes through actions. His quickness, physicality, and willingness to embrace the dirty work allow him to disrupt rhythm and create problems that do not always show up in the box score. Guard defenders with that kind of motor and edge always bring value.

The biggest takeaway from Carolina Mania is simple. There are still unsigned seniors in the 2026 class with real college value available. Sebi Boyogueno continues to show he is D1 caliber. Deshawn Coulter offers control and efficiency in the backcourt. Jaylen Lampkins showed competitive value and readiness. Jayden Hickman provides a straight dog on both ends of the floor. For coaches still evaluating the board, this group gave another strong reminder that there is still talent worth pursuing.
