As the first live period draws nearer, the action at On The Radar continues at a high level. Who Wants The Smoke is an annual gathering of high-level teams and prospects across the southeast. Here's who stood out from the weekend:

Lorenzo McCorvey - Team Person - 2027

Lorenzo is a 6’6” point guard with a 7’ wingspan. That alone makes him an interesting prospect worth watching. Aside from his metrics, Lorenzo is incredibly skilled and plays with a high motor. He’s got a nice handle and is strong attacking the rim. His bigger body allows him to draw contact and get to the foul line, but he also has the strength and concentration to convert and-one plays. Arguably most impressive is his feel for the game and concerted effort to get other guys involved, proving he can actually play the point and is not simply a ball-dominant guard. He causes problems on the defensive end, forcing lots of deflections, which often lead to points off turnovers. Lorenzo moves exceptionally well laterally, making it no issue for him to defend quick guards. He’s a capable shooter, and if his outside shot becomes consistent, he will certainly be a dangerous player at the next level.

Thomas Glanton III - Atlanta Panthers - 2026

Thomas is one of the best scoring guards there is on the OTR circuit. He is a lethal shooter from the perimeter, and his speed makes him an inside-outside threat to defenses as well. His shot creation is impressive as he’s able to get to his spots whenever he wants. However, he’s smart about what shots to take and not playing out of character. He has a good balance of being able to play off of other great players, as well as seizing the game and taking over. Despite looking to shoot first, Thomas is well capable of dishing the ball off to teammates in scoring position. The full package at the PG/CG position, Thomas Glanton III will be near the top of every stat sheet.

Devin Chester - Team EYA - 2027

A natural-born leader who acts as a coach on the floor. Devin’s best qualities are in his ability to get the most out of his teammates. He has the vision and skill to set up his guys in scoring position, and is a guy who loves doing so. He seems to be in sync with his coach for Team EYA, and success follows as a result. As you’d expect of a smaller guard, Devin is a defensive menace and forces several turnovers a game. This is due to both his outstanding effort and his incredible instincts. Devin uses his quickness to get to the rim and score, and he also has a nice jumpshot to round out his game. The intangibles of Devin Chester make him a coach’s dream at point guard.

Ramadan Law - Team Dickerson - 2026

Ramadan was the best athlete at “Who Wants the Smoke?”, without a doubt. Any chance to spring off the ground, he took it and threw down monster dunks. Even without the opportunity to dunk, Ramadan converted on acrobatic layups, making them look easy. His elevation also translates to his jumpshot, allowing him to get into the mid-range and rise well above defenders to score. However, his shooting is not limited to the in-between game, as he showed he can knock down threes with confidence. The athletic ability Ramdan has obviously transfers over to the defensive end as well. Because he’s always trying to get on the rim, Ramadan has become great at playing passing lanes to get those opportunities, but impressively does so without taking bad defensive gambles. An uber-aggressive scorer, Ramadan Law will make for a productive two-guard at whichever school is lucky to grab him.

Tre Keith - AE5 - 2027

Tre Keith is ruthless when attacking the defense. He plays with a speed that’s difficult for any defender to stay in front of. He’s got a tight handle and pounds the rock to free himself up to score. His jumper is smooth, and he has the ability to rattle off several shots in a row. Tre has a strong frame and seemingly never gets bumped off his spot; he’s able to use physicality to his advantage. He’s a great athlete who can slide his feet and apply lots of ball pressure. He’s also solid at getting the ball where it needs to go for his teammates, fulfilling the proper role for a lead guard. His combination of aggression, leadership, and athleticism makes Tre Keith a complete player who is a joy to watch.
